Funk Volume is a movement I am right behind. The jury is still out on what exactly DJ Hoppa brings to the table, but Hopsin, SwizZz, Jarren Benton and Dizzy Wright are four very talented emcees. When they all hop on a track together, it is a joy to behold.
The new year has just begun, and their 2013 campaign is already underway. The video for "Funk Volume 2013" was released last night featuring the entire crew. Looking ahead, we can expect solo albums from each emcee this year, and hopefully a lot more in-house collaborations. They have the potential to finally break out in 2013, but only time will tell.
